Planing stop or bench hook, two different styles, one option is plain forged with minimal filework to clean up the edges, and one is filed bright with a decorative border. Standard dimensions are given below- but if you want any of that changed, including if you’d rather have straight shank instead of a tapered one, just let us know. 2-3/8” total blade length, 2’ wide toothed edge, and shank about 4” long. As-is, the stop is intended to mount in the center of a 3” square by 8 to 12” long wood block mounted with an interference-fit in a corresponding mortise in the bench top.
